Nat Re donates to the UP Medical Foundation in the fight against COVID-19

The National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines (Nat Re) donates PHP200,000 to the University of the Philippines Medical Foundation (UPMF) to support its efforts in containing the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and saving thousands of lives.

The proceeds will be used to distribute the COVID-19 testing kits produced by local scientists as soon as the kits have been validated. The funds will also help provide necessary logistical arrangements (e.g. transportation, food, accommodation) and personnel protective equipment for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the nation’s fight against the pandemic.  The UPMF will match the supply to specific hospitals in need.
